SC4W - Rotate routine B

The purpose of an introduction to this rotation program the following example is a simple rotation of a group of coordinates about the vertical Z axis that will be rotated by 90 degrees the horizontal plane when viewed from above

The bearing of rotation is always "Clockwise" when viewing the plane from above towards the origin

Rotation routine "B"
a. Origin of rotation : a reference point 1 that will not change its values
b. Destination point : a reference point 2 current and future rotation position
c. Axis of rotation    : Easting , Northing or Vertical Axis - use surveyors left hand rule
d. Bearing                : it will change origin to destination bearing to the selected

SC4W - Translate (Co-ordinate) in CrdMenu2

SC4W - Translate (Co-ordinate) in CrdMenu2

The Translate program will redefine the values of the current list or a group of coordinate selected.
These will be altered by the same "SHIFT" value as the reference control point (Exp. A01)
Currently the coordinate of A01 are 54.777E . 24.888N, 1.339Z
it will transfer to 0.000E, 0.000N, 3.339Z

The SHIFT therefore will be -54.777E, 24.888N and 2.000Z

All the group (tag) have been translated relative to A01
A01: 0.000E, 0.000N, 3.339Z
The distance between them is 125.777m which is the difference between their Northing coordinates. The height difference between A01 & A06 is 0.132m. Their difference "Z"

Autocad Civil 3D - Helmert (Least Squares / Best Fit) coordinate transformation

The Helmert transformation (named after Friedrich Robert Helmert, 1843–1917) is a transformation method within a three-dimensional space. It is frequently used in geodesy to produce distortion-free transformations from one datum to another. The Helmert transformation is also called a seven-parameter transformation and is a similarity transformatio

Step by step bestfit using Autocad - Helmert

1. Prepare datum or reference points (bm_old vs bm_new)

2. Load Helmert - (Command LSP - Helmert)

3. After load successful - Click 1st point source to 1st point target, Click 2nd point source to 2nd point target etc (base on quantity of datum or reference)
